Terms and conditions
1. Scope and contracting party
These terms apply to the use of the web application CRYPDEKS. The contracting party is Dejan Aleksić, Gaswerkstraße 5/51, 1210 Wien, Austria (“we”).
A consumer is anyone who concludes the contract for purposes outside their business. Where these terms distinguish between consumers and businesses, this is stated expressly.
2. Service
CRYPDEKS is software used through the browser. Among other things it shows market hours, economic events and holidays and includes a lot calculator, a rule guard and a trading journal.
There is a permanently free version with limited scope and the paid version “Pro”. The website states which features belong to which version.
We continue to develop CRYPDEKS and may change, add or replace features as long as the essential benefit of Pro is preserved.
3. No investment advice, third-party data
CRYPDEKS is a tool and not investment advice, a recommendation or asset management. We do not execute orders and have no access to your trading account.
Market hours, holidays and exchange rates come partly from third parties. Economic events are compiled by an AI from public sources; their date, time and impact may still change, and individual events may be missing. They are updated continuously. This also applies to restricted periods linked to such events. Information on prop-firm rules is a default and may differ from your firm’s rules. The rule guard only works with the trades that are in your journal, that is, the ones you enter yourself or load from a file. Your firm’s or broker’s rules and dashboard always take precedence. You check this information yourself and trade at your own risk.
4. Account
CRYPDEKS is offered worldwide from Austria. You are responsible for making sure that you may use the app where you live and that your trading is permitted there. We do not offer CRYPDEKS in countries or to persons where this is prohibited under Austrian law, EU law or sanctions rules, and we may suspend such accounts.
You need an account with a valid email address. You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your login details secret and tell us if you suspect misuse. An account is for one person and must not be shared.
5. Trial
After registering you can try Pro free of charge for 14 days. No payment method is needed. If you do not subscribe during the trial, your account then switches automatically to the free version. Your data is kept.
A beta or voucher code unlocks Pro free of charge for the stated period. One code can be redeemed per account. After that your account switches to the free version unless you have a subscription.
6. Conclusion of contract, prices and payment
The contract for Pro is concluded when you complete the order process and we confirm the order.
The prices shown on the website at the time of purchase apply. All prices are in euros. [to be clarified before launch: “including statutory VAT” or reference to the small-business exemption]
Depending on your country of residence, taxes may apply, for example VAT, sales tax or a similar charge. The amount you pay is shown to you before you complete the purchase. You bear any fees charged by your bank or for conversion into another currency.
Founder price: the first 100 paying customers get Pro at the founder price. If you subscribe at it, you keep that price for as long as the subscription runs without interruption. If the subscription ends and you subscribe again later, the price shown at that time applies.
Payment is made in advance for the chosen period (month or year) through the payment service Stripe using the payment methods offered there. If a payment fails, we may suspend access to Pro after a reminder until the payment is made.
7. Term and cancellation
The subscription runs for one month or one year, as chosen, and renews for the same period unless cancelled.
You can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the paid period, most easily through “Manage subscription” on the account page or by email. Pro remains available until then. After that your account switches to the free version.
The right of both parties to terminate for good cause remains unaffected. Good cause for us exists in particular if you breach section 9.
8. Price changes
We may change the price of a running subscription with effect from the start of a new billing period. We will tell you by email at least 30 days in advance. In that case you can cancel with effect from the end of the current period. The founder-price commitment in section 6 remains unaffected.
9. Your obligations
You may use CRYPDEKS only for your own trading. In particular you may not:
- retrieve the content or data automatically or resell it
- copy, modify or reverse-engineer the software, unless the law expressly permits it
- circumvent protective measures or disrupt operation
- upload unlawful content
10. Availability
We aim for continuous operation but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, faults at service providers or force majeure can cause interruptions. Do not rely on CRYPDEKS alone for time-critical decisions.
11. Your content
Your entries and screenshots belong to you. You grant us only the right to store and display them to you as far as operation requires.
12. Warranty and liability
The statutory warranty provisions apply.
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury. We are not liable for slight negligence, except for personal injury and breach of essential contractual obligations. Towards businesses, liability is also limited to typical, foreseeable damage and liability for lost profit is excluded.
We are not liable for losses from your trading. This also applies if an event, a time, a rule or a calculation in CRYPDEKS was shown incorrectly or late, unless we acted with intent or gross negligence.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
13. Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from the contract for Pro within 14 days without giving reasons. The period starts on the day the contract is concluded. We grant this right to consumers in all countries, including outside the European Union. Any further rights that the law of your country of residence mandatorily gives you remain in place.
To withdraw, tell us your decision in a clear statement, for example by email to office@crypdeks.com or by letter to Dejan Aleksić, Gaswerkstraße 5/51, 1210 Wien, Austria. You may use the model form below, but this is not required. The deadline is met if you send the statement before it expires.
Effects of withdrawal: we will refund all payments received from you without delay and at the latest within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same means of payment you used. We charge no fees for this.
If you asked us to begin the service during the withdrawal period, you pay us a reasonable amount for the service provided up to the withdrawal. It corresponds to the share of time already used in the total paid period.

14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms where there is an objective reason, such as new features or a change in the law. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not object within that period, the change is deemed accepted; we will point this out in the notice. If you object, the contract continues on the previous terms and either party may cancel with effect from the end of the paid period.
15. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Sales Convention. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another state, inside or outside the EU, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of that state remain applicable.
The German version of these terms is authoritative. Translations are for convenience only, unless the law of your country of residence mandatorily provides otherwise.
For disputes with businesses, the competent court in Vienna has jurisdiction. For consumers the statutory places of jurisdiction apply.
